This vintage black silk crepe gold quilted bias cut evening gown dress and jacket dates from the 1940s. It is made of a black silk crepe fabric, with gold metallic thread quilted stitching done on the front waist of the dress and the entire jacket. This sexy elegant evening gown floor length dress has a bias cut style, with a sweetheart neckline, gathered smocking shoulder straps, sleeveless, plunging V backless, a long full skirt with pleated back drape and back zipper closure. The dress is a large size measuring 67 inches long, with 46 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 44 inch bust. Included is a matching fabric short cropped bolero style jacket, with gathered shoulders, short sleeves and an open front with no closure. The jacket measures 30 inches long, with a 34 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, but has not been cleaned and has some slight white deodorant marks on the dress. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
