Vintage 1940s Navy Blue & White Cotton Polka Dot Dress Jabot Peplum Jacket Top
This vintage navy blue and white cotton polka dot dress, jabot, peplum jacket top dates from the 1940s. It is made of a crisp white cotton fabric dress, with a sheer navy blue and white polka dot cotton batiste fabric top. This stylish sophisticated two piece outfit includes a white dress with navy blue polka dot trim edging, a jabot ruffle trim front neckline, high neck collar, long full sleeves, button cuffs, a fitted waist, short mid length skirt and back zipper closure. The dress measures 42 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. Included is a sheer, unlined navy blue polka dot overblouse, jacket style top with an uneven asymmetrical peplum skirted waist tapered longer in the back, with a cut away front, short cap sleeves, fabric covered button trim accents and closures. It is in good condition, with only a small faint yellow stain on the bottom front skirt. This is truly a unique custom made piece of wearable art!
