This exquisite Edwardian era Belle Epoque antique white Normandy mixed lace blue ribbon wedding gown dress dates from 1910. It is made of an off white sheer tulle net, Normandy mixed lace fabric, with white cotton batiste embroidered inserts on the top and a baby blue ribbon woven around the top and skirt. This lovely lace dress is a long floor length, with a layered middy style sleeveless vest over top, crochet knotted button trim accents, sailor collar, 3/4 length sleeves, a tiered peplum over skirt, hook closures down the back and is lined in net. The dress measures 54 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 13 inch back. It is in excellent condition, with only a small faint age spot stain on the skirt which is barely noticeable. This is truly an exceptional piece of antique textile lace art which could be worn as a wedding gown! |
