It is made of a black silk Battenburg crochet lace created with tapes, connecting thread picot ornamented bars with decorative spiral, floral, leaf, scroll work designs. This lovely lace loose fitting coat jacket is a long length, with long full sleeves, a shawl collar, black silk chiffon lining inside, an attached neck scarf tie hanging down the front and open an front with no closure. The coat measures 42 inches long, with 46 inch hips, a 46 inch waist, 44 inch bust, 17 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only some slight fraying on the chiffon fabric lining. This is truly an amazing, exceptional, quality made piece of wearable antique lace art!
