This vintage Edwardian era tan cotton gingham trim belted bathing swimsuit dress dates from 1910. It is made of a pale brown tan color polished cotton fabric, with a tan & white gingham checked trim edging and belt. This wonderful women's old fashioned bathing suit costume dress has a V front neckline, pleated trim along the shoulders, short sleeves, a fitted waist, matching fabric belt with snap closures on the front and is missing the bloomers pantaloons which would have been worn underneath. The dress measures 36 inches long, with a 34 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 28 inch belt. It is in good condition, with only some slight fade discoloration in areas on the top (see close-up). This antique authentic "bathing beauty" costume is truly a rare color and wonderful piece of wearable art!
