This vintage amazing Art Deco black silk colorful metallic embroidered pheasant kimono robe coat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black silk crepe de chine fabric, with bright vibrant colorful chain stitch embroidery work and gold metallic thread outlining the Chinese pheasant bird on the front and decorative Art Deco abstract spiral medallions. This fabulous flapper kimono robe style coat is loose fitting, with an open front, no closure, decorative green stitching along the edging and long full swinging kimono split sleeves lined in green silk. The robe measures 46 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 44 inch waist, 44 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only tiny moth holes clustered on the bottom back.
