This vintage Edwardian era white net embroidered lace sailor middy top blue sash belted dress dates from 1915. It is made of a sheer fine white tulle net, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a floral pattern design along the bottom skirt. This lovely lace long tea length dress has a middy top overlay with sailor collar, silk button trim accents, is sleeveless, with a blue silk ribbon sash belted back bow waist, snap closures down the front top, around the waist and is sheer, lined only in net on the top and white silk on the skirt. The dress measures 46 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned and has a few small slight faint age spot stains on the top and appears that the sleeves were removed. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique textile lace art!
