This vintage B. Altman & Co. white cotton tulle net embroidered lace drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer white cotton tulle net fabric, with embroidered daisy flowers. This lovely lace dress has loose fitting drop waist style, with a layered top, ruffle trim, sailor collar, open front, no closure, decorative crochet ball button trim, long sleeves, a tiered layered skirt and is sheer, unlined. There is a "B. Altman & Co. Paris New York" store label sewn inside. The dress measures 48 inches long, with a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 21 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned, with some yellowing discoloration staining on the front top and a few small frayed holes. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art which would be great for design or restoration!
