It is made of a sheer black silk chiffon fabric, with tiny jet beading and large black celluloid sequin squares, circles done in a decorative abstract geometric Art Deco designs.

This amazing Art Deco vintage black silk jet beaded sequin drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black silk chiffon fabric, with tiny jet beading and large black celluloid sequin squares, circles done in a decorative abstract geometric Art Deco designs. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting, drop waist style, with long sheer net beaded panel sleeves, fitted cuffs and is lined in the front, sheer in the back. The dress measures 44 inches long, with a 38 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few loose missing beads, some faint water spot staining on the skirt, sleeve cuffs and a couple of small holes on the back neck, shoulder (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
