This vintage Jenelle of California black marabou feather robe peignoir and negligee nightgown dates from the 1960s. It is made of a black sheer nylon fabric, with black marabou feather boa trim on the robe. This lovely lingerie negligee peignoir set includes a long floor length loose fitting nightgown, with plunging V necklines, short cap sleeves and is sheer, unlined. The nightgown measures 56 inches long, with a 54 inch waist and 38 inch bust. There is a long floor length loose fitting flowing robe, with 3/4 length full puffy sleeves, feather trim cuffs, collar neckline, snap closure and is sheer, unlined. The robe measures 60 inches long, with a 60 inch waist and 38 inch bust. There is a "Jenelle of California" label size Medium tag sewn inside. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned. This peignoir is from the estate of Karen Wessler who performed on the Tennessee Ernie Ford Show as one of "The Top Twenty", Ernie's back-up group (see publicity photo stills below). This is truly a wonderful piece of romantic wearable lingerie art!
