This Edwardian era Belle Epoque moire watered silk taffeta pink floral ribbon lace dress dates from 1915. It is made of a colorful pastel pinks and greens moire watered silk taffeta ribbon fabric with a floral wavy pattern damask design. There is an off white cream color sheer net lace fabric trim top front collar, cuffs and pink sheer silk chiffon fabric trim overlay. This beautiful Belle Epoque gown dress is a long floor length, with a layered top, open front bodice with sheer net lining inside, short cap sleeves, snap, hook closures down the front, along the waist and is not lined. The dress measures 53 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in fair as-is condition, with several small frayed holes in the pink chiffon fabric overlay and some small faint age spot stains scattered (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique textile art which would be great for design or restoration!
