1940s Vintage Black & Yellow Leaf Novelty Print Cotton Dress Suit Jacket Skirt
This vintage black and yellow leaf novelty print cotton dress suit, jacket top and skirt dates from the 1940s. It is made of a black sheer light weight muslin cotton fabric with a contrasting yellow grape leaf novelty print. This retro fun fall foliage two piece suit outfit includes a blouse shirt jacket with cute little matching yellow bakelite grape leaf shape button closures down the front, slight shoulder padding, short sleeves with rolled cuffs, a fitted peplum skirted waist with faux flap pockets and is unlined. The top measures 22 1/2 inches long, with a 30 inch waist and 38 inch bust. Included is a matching fabric swing skirt, with fitted waistband, back zipper closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 29 inches long, with a 30 inch waist. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned and has two small faint black smudge mark stains on the front top. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
