Vintage Art Deco Striped Blue & Gold Lamé Lame Velvet Drop Waist Flapper Dress This fabulous flapper style drop waist dress is loose fitting, with an attached belted sash, buckle trim, a shawl style velvet collar with side neck scarf drape, long tapered sleeves, a pleated short skirt and is lined only in the top, the skirt silk lining was shattered and removed.

This vintage Art Deco striped blue and gold lamé velvet drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a blue and gold metallic silk lamé fabric, with a striped pattern design and blue silk velvet trim accents. This fabulous flapper style drop waist dress is loose fitting, with an attached belted sash, buckle trim, a shawl style velvet collar with side neck scarf drape, long tapered sleeves, a pleated short skirt and is lined only in the top, the skirt silk lining was shattered and removed. The dress measures 43 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, with small frayed holes on the shoulders, some slight discoloration along the blue velvet trim and there are 2 rhinestones missing on the buckle trim (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
