This antique Edwardian Titanic era silk damask brocade tambour embroidery lace wedding gown dress dates from 1912. It is made of an off white silk damask weave floral pattern brocade fabric, with tambour embroidery net lace floral trim on the front bodice, sleeves and bottom skirt. This beautiful bridal wedding dress has a long floor length layered tiered skirt with slight back train, squared necklines, layered short sleeves, a pleated belted sash waist, hook closures on the back and is fully lined. The dress measures 56 inches long in the front, 62 inches long in the back, with 40 inch hips, a 26 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned, with some discoloration age spot staining on the lace front neckline and a frayed hole underarm and on the shoulder (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique bridal wearable art! |
