This antique Edwardian era George R Taylor Co. blue wool winter walking suit jacket coat and skirt dates from 1915. It is made of a dark navy blue soft wool fabric, with pleating and button trim details. This beautiful blue two piece winter walking suit includes a long knee length coat jacket, with high neck collar which can be worn up or folded down, black silk macramé fringe trim end neck scarf, long sleeves with button cuffs, pockets, a pleated bottom with button trim, front closures and is fully lined. There is a "Geo. R. Taylor Co. Wheeling, W.VA." label sewn inside. It is a large wearable size. The coat measures 36 inches long, with a 32 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. There is a matching fabric long tea length full skirt, with button trim accents, side snap closures and is unlined. The skirt measures 32 inches long, with 44 inch hips and a 30 inch waist. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique textile art!
