It is made of a creamy off white ecru color fine quality linen fabric, with white raised padded satin stitch embroidery work and eyelet drawn cutwork done in a floral leaf design.

This antique Edwardian era creamy off white linen eyelet embroidered cutwork garden party dress dates from 1905. It is made of a creamy off white ecru color fine quality linen fabric, with white raised padded satin stitch embroidery work and eyelet drawn cutwork done in a floral leaf design. This gorgeous garden party dress has a high neckline with lace trim edging, long sleeves, a fitted waist, long floor length skirt, buttons down the back for closure and is unlined. The dress measures 57 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned, with only a faint water spot stain on the front top, a dirt smudge on the side waist and a small open seam on the bottom front skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
