This vintage Casa Regional Portugal Madeira hand embroidery lace shift dress and coat dates from the 1960s. It is made of a white cotton silk blend fabric with hand embroidery eyelet cutwork floral pattern Madeira work from Portugal. This lovely lace two piece summer outfit includes a loose fitting shift style dress with a scalloped lace neckline front panel backed in a orangish red nylon fabric, sleeveless, with back zipper closure and is fully lined. The dress is a large size measuring 40 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 35 inch waist and 40 inch bust. There is a matching long mid length full coat jacket with open front, no closure, long sleeves and lined, backed in a orangish red nylon fabric. The coat measures 39 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 40 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. There is "The Famous Casa Regional Hand Made Embroideries Madeira" label tag still attached to the sleeve cuff. It is in excellent, unworn condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Portuguese Madeira wearable art!
