This vintage Art Deco black silk crepe gold lamé animal print spotted bias cut dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a gold metallic lamé thread woven fabric top in an animal print spotted pattern design, with a black silk crepe skirt. This beautiful bias cut evening gown dress is a long floor length, sleeveless, with a key hole opening back, side snap closures and is unlined. The dress measures 56 inches long, with a 34 inch bust, 28 inch waist and 32 inch hips. It is in as-is fair condition, with 2 tiny pin holes on the back skirt, 3 tiny frayed pulls on the silk lamé fabric front top and an open side seam on the skirt (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art in need of some minor restoration! |
