This vintage blue boucle Carlton Ingenue Poodle Cloth circle skirt and suit jacket dates from the 1950s. It is made of a sky blue and black boucle looped, curled yarn Poodle Cloth fabric. This retro rockabilly two piece suit has a full circle skirt, with side zipper, button waistband closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 30 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and is 120 inches in circumference. There is a matching fabric jacket, with long layered tapered sleeves, a wide lapel fold over collar with wrap style front opening, a fitted waist with two decorative plastic button closures and is unlined. The jacket measures 18 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 22 inch long sleeves. There is a "Carlton Ingenue Poodle Cloth" label and size 9-10 tag sewn inside the jacket. It is in good condition, with only a small faint stain on the side skirt. This is truly a wonderful unique piece of wearable art!
