This antique Victorian era lace trim pink silk ribbon short negligee night corset waist cincher dates from 1900. It is made of a pale pink pastel silk satin ribbon pieced and woven together, with white lace scalloped ruffle trim edging around the top. This lovely lingerie negligee boudoir ribbon corset has a short style worn at night to cinch the waist while sleeping to maintain the desired smaller wasp waist. It has a slightly curved front steel busk, brass hook closures, original pink silk corset string adjustable lacing on the back, boning stays sewn along the sides and back. The brass hooks on the front closure are stamped "P.D." for the Manufactures Royales French Corsets P.D. The corset measures 11 inches long in the front, 9 1/2 inches long in the back, 7 1/2 inches long on the sides, with a 23 inch waist which is adjustable. It is in good condition, with only some fraying of the original silk corset strings lacing. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable antique corsetry lingerie art!
