This vintage Pringle of Scotland pink cashmere white beaded cardigan sweater dates from the 1950s. It is made of a pale pink color soft 100% pure cashmere, with white hand beaded flowers accented with silver beads and cream silk embroidery work. This beautiful beaded cardigan sweater has a ribbed fitted scalloped waistband, cuffs, collar, long full sleeves, unlined and white buttons down the front for closure. The sweater measures 20 inches long, with a 24 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 19 inch long sleeves. There is a "Pringle of Scotland Made in Scotland" label sewn inside. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned with a few faint small stains and some loose missing beading on the neckline (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of hand beaded wearable art!
