This antique Victorian Civil War era white cotton red soutache stitched embroidery full petticoat skirt dates from the 1860s. It is made of a crisp white cotton fabric, with red, white and blue gray accented decorative stitched soutache embroidery work along the bottom hem. This pretty petticoat skirt has a long floor length full hoop skirt (hoop not included underneath), with a slight back train, gathered back waist and adjustable drawstring closure. The petticoat measures 36 inches long in the front, 38 inches long in the back, with a 24 inch and up adjustable waist and is 116 inches in circumference at the bottom. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wearable art! |
