Victorian Gentleman's White Silk Damask Floral Brocade Wedding Waistcoat Vest This antique Victorian era gentleman's white silk damask floral brocade wedding waistcoat vest dates from the 1860s. It is made of an off white ivory color silk damask botanical floral embossed brocade fabric.

This antique Victorian era gentleman's white silk damask floral brocade wedding waistcoat vest dates from the 1860s. It is made of an off white ivory color silk damask botanical floral embossed brocade fabric. There is a white linen fabric backing, with an adjustable metal buckle, strap on the lower back. It is fully lined with padding inside the front chest area. This dapper gentleman's wedding waistcoat vest has a V front opening, with a small fold over lapel collar, three front pockets and six silk fabric covered buttons for closure on the front. The vest measures 21 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 38 inch chest. It is in good condition, with only two small open seams on the side which need minor repair stitching and a few faint small stains on the front (see close-up). This is truly a quality made men's early Victorian vest!
