Vintage San Agvstin Taxco Mexico Matador Bull Fighter Wool Circle Skirt Dress
This vintage San Agvstin Taxco Mexico matador bull fighter novelty print circle skirt dress dates from the 1950s. It is made of a 100% wool fabric, with an off white cream color background and colorful novelty print design of bull fighting, matadors accented in hand sewn sequins. This two piece dress has a full circle skirt with a fitted waistband side zipper closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 32 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 132 inch bottom skirt circumference. There is a matching fabric print blouse, with short cap sleeves, rounded scoop necklines, side zipper closure and is unlined. The top measures 19 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 36 inch bust. There is a "San Agvstin Taxco Made in Mexico" label sewn inside. The two piece ensemble is in fair as-is condition with several small stains and moth nip holes scattered in areas. This is truly is a wonderful piece of wearable Mexican textile art!
