This antique Victorian era black and white striped cotton calico belted morning wrapper workwear dress dates from 1890. It is made of a black and white striped cotton calico fabric which has a slight strobe effect, with white rick rack trim accents. This womens work wear wrapper morning day dress has a long floor length, with a fold over collar, long full sleeves, fitted cuffs, pleated full back, ruffle hem full skirt, attached belted tie sash, glass button closures down the front and modesty panel cotton camisole lining inside the bodice with hook closures. The dress measures 53 inches long, with a 42 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned, with a few faint small age spot stains on the sleeve, inside camisole top, some soiling along the inside neck collar and a few tiny woven mended repairs. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana textile art!
