This antique Victorian era Domestic Wrapper label black and white cotton calico print workwear dress dates from 1890. It is made of a white cotton calico fabric, with a faded black abstract geometric striped circular pattern print design. This womens work wear wrapper morning day dress has a long floor length, with a fold over collar, appliquéd trim yoke, long sleeves with fitted cuffs, ruffle hem full skirt with side pockets, attached belted tie sash and button closures down the front modesty panel insert vest inside the bodice top. There is a "Domestic Wrapper Fit Guaranteed Size 34." label sewn inside. The dress measures 55 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, but has not been laundered, with only some slight fade discoloration and water spot stains along the bottom skirt hemline. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana textile art!
