This amazing Art Deco vintage silver lamé black Chantilly lace sequin beaded gown dates from the 1920s. It is made of a silver lamé silk damask floral weave pattern brocade fabric lining, with a sheer fine black Chantilly lace fabric overlay attached overdress. There are black and blue iridescent sequin beading done in an Art Deco design down the front and around the waist. This gorgeous gown evening dress is a long tea length, with a loose fitting drop waist style, sheer lace full flared sleeves and is unlined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good condition needing only some minor restoration repair, with a few small holes in the lace on one sleeve and skirt, a small frayed rip on the side waistband beadwork and a few faint tarnish discoloration stains on the lamé fabric lining underdress. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
