Vintage 1920s Embroidered Cream Net Filet Lace Drop Waist Chemise Shift Dress
This vintage embroidered cream net filet lace drop waist chemise shift dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer tulle net fabric, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a floral vine leaf design and filet lace trim with an oak leaf acorn pattern. This lovely lace chemise style shift dress is loose fitting, has a drop waist, short sleeves and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 43 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned, with only a small age spot stain on the side skirt and a small hole on the bottom skirt. This is truly an exquisite piece of wearable lace art!
