It is made of a sheer white machine made net fabric, with Duchesse motifs rose flowers appliquéd Brussels bobbin lace trim on the front bib top, sleeve cuffs and skirt ruffles.

It is made of a sheer white machine made net fabric, with Duchesse motifs rose flowers appliquéd Brussels bobbin lace trim on the front bib top, sleeve cuffs and skirt ruffles. This lovely lace dress has a pink silk slip lining sewn inside, with a bib front top, short sleeves, a pleated gathered belted waistband, tiered ruffle layered full skirt, with snaps and hook closures along the side. The dress measures 45 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 32 inch bust. It is in good as-is condition, has not been cleaned with a few faint age spot stains on the skirt, some small frayed holes along the shoulders, sleeves and a small mended repair on the skirt ruffle (see close-ups). This is truly an exceptional piece of antique lace wearable art!
