Vintage Blue & White Feather Novelty Print Rayon Dress Suit Peplum Jacket Skirt
This vintage blue and white feather novelty print rayon dress suit peplum jacket and skirt dates from the 1940s. It is made of a blue and white rayon fabric with an eagle feather print Native American Indian inspired design. This fabulous feather novelty print two piece suit dress outfit has a fitted peplum skirted waist jacket, with a large white organdy lace trim layered ruffle flounce collar, broad shoulder padding, long sleeves, fabric covered button closures down the front and is unlined. The jacket measures 21 inches long, with a 28 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 18 inch long sleeve. There is a matching print fabric swing style skirt with side zipper closure and is unlined. The skirt measures 27 inches long, with 40 inch hips and a 26 inch waist. Both pieces have a size 12 tag sewn inside. It is in good condition, with only some slight faint discoloration under the arms. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
