This exquisite vintage gold metallic lamé lace short kimono sleeve dress and pink silk slip dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer fine gold metallic thread lamé lace net woven into a floral leaf pattern. This gorgeous gold dress is a long mid length, with short kimono style squared sleeves, rounded necklines, no side openings and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 50 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is a pink silk slip dress with pleated bottom skirt, silk ribbon shoulder straps, loose fitting with a drop waist style and measures 42 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 34 inch bust. The dress is in good condition needing only some minor restoration repair, with two small frays on the front lace top bust area and a 2 inch frayed break in the lace on the bottom front top near the waist (see close-up). This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of wearable textile lace art!
