This vintage Art Deco chartreuse gold lamé silk damask drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a chartreuse yellowish green color silk lamé fabric with a gold and silver metallic thread damask weave brocade pattern woven design. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist style, with gold lamé mesh lined open sides, sleeveless, front snap closures and is fully lined in a chartreuse green silk satin fabric inside. The dress measures 48 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in fair as-is condition, has not been cleaned, with several areas of discoloration and staining on the front and under the arms (see close-up). This is truly an amazing piece of Art Deco textile art which would be great for design!
