This vintage Poi Pounder Tog Hawaiian hula print rayon sarong dress and shrug jacket dates from the late 1940s. It is made of a chartreuse green, navy blue and white rayon fabric with a Hawaiian figural print of hula dancers and poi pounders. This retro Hawaiian sexy sarong style wiggle dress is form fitting, with a wrap skirt side tie, halter top neck strap, side zipper closure and has stays boning sewn inside the bodice. The dress measures 38 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 24 inch waist and 32 inch bust. There is a matching print fabric short cropped shrug bolero jacket with an open front and no closure. The jacket measures 12 inches long, with a 30 inch bust. There is "An Original Poi Pounder Tog Hawaiian Togs-Honolulu" label sewn inside. It is in good condition, with only two small faint stains on the front top of the dress which are barely noticeable (see close-up). This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of collectible Hawaiiana vintage textile art!
