This amazing Art Deco vintage purple panne crushed velvet belted bias cut evening gown dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a lustrous dark purple panne crushed velvet silk fabric. This gorgeous gown evening dress is a long floor length, with a sexy, sleeveless form fitting style, plunging V neckline wrap front, criss crossing twisted straps on the back, an attached belted front with movable linked rhinestone, amethyst glass beaded buckle trim, no side opening and is unlined. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned, with a slight musty odor, missing one rhinestone on the buckle and has some fraying on the silk chiffon backing the straps. This is truly a rare and luxurious piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
