This antique Victorian era A.E. Parsons Boston paisley brocade navy blue wool gigot mutton sleeve bodice dates from the 1890s. It is made of a navy blue and gold, red, blue paisley brocade boteh pattern woven wool fabric. This beautiful bodice blouse shirt top, has a navy blue braided trim band collar, blue pleated front insert, long leg of mutton gigot style sleeves with a blue pouf top tapering down, a fitted waist with braided trim, hook closures down the front and is fully lined with quality construction detail, stays boning sewn inside. There is an "A.E. Parsons, Boston" label sewn inside the waistband. The bodice measures 16 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 25 inch long sleeves and 15 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Victoriana wearable art!
