It is made of an off white cream color wool fabric, with colorful tiny seed stitch Peking knot embroidery work of five clawed dragons, pearls and smoke clouds embroidered on the front, back and sleeves.

This vintage antique Chinese dragon tiny seed stitch embroidery white wool winter coat jacket dates from the 1940s. It is made of an off white cream color wool fabric, with colorful tiny seed stitch Peking knot embroidery work of five clawed dragons, pearls and smoke clouds embroidered on the front, back and sleeves. This wonderful winter coat jacket has a loose fitting boxy style, with fold over collar, long full sleeves, knotted button toggle closures down the front and is unlined. The coat measures 24 inches long, with, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 20 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, with 2 missing toggle closures on the front, a few tiny moth nips on the wool pile and a faint black smudge stain on the back (see close-up). This is truly an amazing piece of wearable Chinese textile art!
