This vintage Art Deco black silk chiffon butterfly beaded bias cut evening gown dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a black sheer silk chiffon fabric with white and silver beading done in an abstract butterfly design on the front top, swirling, triangle designs along the back and sleeves. This beautiful black bias cut evening gown dress has a form fitting sheath style, with a beaded overlay blouse cutaway short cropped top, V necklines, flared wide short sleeves, a long floor length skirt with side tiered ruffles and is sheer, unlined with no side opening. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in fair as-is condition, has not been cleaned, with some white staining discoloration on the front skirt, bottom hemline, under the arms and has a few frayed small holes on the shoulder (see close-ups). It would be great for design. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
