This Victorian era vintage Ward Stilson Co. fraternal regalia Odd Fellows ceremonial robe gown dates from 1900. It is made of a black silk satin fabric, with contrasting white chain stitching embroidery work done in a floral four leaf clover pattern design. This Odd Fellows fraternal regalia ceremonial robe gown is loose fitting, a long floor length, with a band collar high neckline, long full kimono style sleeves with wide cuffs, a pleated back drape, fully lined with a striped cotton ticking fabric, a belted rope tie sash with tassel ends and snap closures down the front. There is a "Ward Stilson Co. Mfrs, Society Goods New London, Ohio" label and "Outside Conductor" tag sewn inside. The Ward Stilson Company manufactured uniforms, regalia, ceremonial garments for numerous fraternal organizations, secret societies, such as the Masons, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias and the Red Men. The gown measures 54 inches long, with a 56 inch waist, 50 inch chest, 18 1/2 inches wide across the top shoulders and 28 inch long sleeve. It is in good condition, with only some small frays on the inside lining. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Odd Fellows wearable regalia art!
