This vintage Edwardian era lilac silk chiffon crystal beaded belted evening gown dress dates from 1918. It is made of a light purple pinkish lilac color sheer silk chiffon fabric with crystal beading done in decorative designs. This lovely lilac evening gown dress is a long floor length with a fitted inside waistband, long full sleeves with wide cuffs, a layered tiered skirt with peplum draped sides, an attached belted tie sash with beaded tassel end, snap closures along the side top and is fully lined with a lilac silk short slip sewn inside. The dress measures 52 inches long, with a 28 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, missing one beaded tassel end off the belt, with some small stains along the shoulders sleeves, faint underarm stains, slight fade discoloration and fraying along the bottom skirt hemline (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable beaded textile art!
