Vintage Edwardian Embroidered White Net Mixed Crochet Lace Bodice Blouse Shirt
This antique Edwardian era embroidered white net mixed crochet lace bodice blouse 1910. It is made of a white embroidered net fabric, with mixed laces of Irish crochet and cluny lace. This beautiful bodice blouse has a high neck lace collar with stays inside, 3/4 length sleeves, crochet lace ball fringe trim on the front, a fitted skirted peplum waist, snap closures down the back and is fully lined in a white cotton fabric. The top measures 17 inches long, with a 24 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 9 inch neck. It is in fair as-is condition needing some minor restoration, has not been cleaned with a few faint small age spot stains, tiny holes in the net, frayed breaks in the lace and a small piece of net fabric is missing from the back of the neck collar (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique textile lace wearable art!
