It is made of a black silk satin fabric background, with colorful raised padded satin stitch embroidery work. There is a lush floral foliage and colorful bird design completely covering it. This exquisitely embroidered robe jacket has a short, loose fitting boxy style, with long full sleeves, a stiffened mandarin collar, front slit pockets, black silk toggle knotted button closure and is fully lined. There is a "Plum Blossoms Made in China" label size 40 tag sewn inside. The coat measures 26 inches long, with a 40 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Chinese embroidery textile art!
