Vintage Chinese Black & Yellow Silk Embroidered Pajamas Palazzo Pants Robe Top
This vintage Chinese black and yellow silk embroidered pajamas palazzo pants, robe, top date from the 1930s. It is made of a black and yellow silk satin fabric, with contrasting silk raised padded satin stitch embroidery work of picturesque village pagoda temple scenes. Included in this three piece lingerie lounge wear pajama set is a sleeveless tank top shirt blouse, with a pullover style, V front neckline and heart shaped patch pocket sewn onto the bottom front. The top measures 23 inches long, with a 32 inch waist and 34 inch bust. There is a loose fitting short robe coat jacket with an open front, no closure, fold over lapel collar, long full sleeves and is unlined. The robe measures 25 inches long, with a 36 inch waist and 36 inch bust. There are matching palazzo pants, with flared, pleated, scalloped, embroidered inserts bottom cuffs and a V front top elastic back waistband. The pants measure 39 inches long, with a 23 inch inseam, 40 inch hips and a 34 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only the pants back elastic waistband being a bit loose. This is truly a rare and amazing piece of wearable Asian textile art!
