It is made of a robins egg blue color fine wool fabric, with hand embroidered white daisy flowers, dentil trim and blue knit crochet lace trim edging along the bottom hemline. This beautiful blue winter petticoat full skirt is a long mid length with a fitted white linen waistband, button back closure with pleated gathers on the back, decorative white zig zag stitching details along the seams and is unlined. The skirt measures 28 inches long, with a 24 inch waist. The owners name "J.W. Wills" is hand written in ink inside the waistband. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful and unique piece of antique Victoriana wearable art!
