It is made of a sheer pink silk chiffon fabric, with raised gold metallic lamé rosette flower trim, rhinestone centers and silver beading done in a garland bow, vine leaf design along the top edging and bottom front skirt.

This vintage Art Deco pink silk chiffon gold lamé rosette beaded drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer pink silk chiffon fabric, with raised gold metallic lamé rosette flower trim, rhinestone centers and silver beading done in a garland bow, vine leaf design along the top edging and bottom front skirt. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist, tabard style with smocking along the sides of the waist, sleeveless with wide open arm holes, a side hook closure with bow trim and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 50 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 30 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only a small frayed hole near the side waist (see close-up). This is truly an exceptional piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
