Vintage 1920s Embroidered Ecru Net Lace Tabard Slit Skirt Chemise Shift Dress
This vintage embroidered ecru net filet lace tabard high slit chemise shift dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an ecru cream color sheer tulle net fabric, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a wheat stalk leaf design and Valenciennes lace trim inserts with floral pattern. This lovely lace chemise tabard style shift dress is loose fitting, with high slits along the skirt sides, short cap lace sleeves, a weighted hemline and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 43 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 36 inch waist and 36 inch hips. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned, with only slight faint underarm discoloration. This is truly an exquisite piece of wearable lace art!
