This exquisite vintage silver metallic lamé lace belted off shoulder evening gown dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a sheer fine silver metallic thread lamé lace net woven into a garland floral leaf pattern. This elegant evening gown dress is a long floor length with slight back train skirt, an off shoulder style with satin spaghetti straps, a shawl collar ruffle flounce backed in a gold mesh crinoline for added stiffness, a matching lace fabric belt with rhinestone buckle trim front, lace covered decorative buttons down the back with hidden snap closures underneath and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 57 inches long in the front, 77 inches long in the back, with a 34 inch bust and 260 inch waist. Included is a cream silk bias cut long slip dress. The dress is in excellent condition, with only slight faint underarm discoloration. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of wearable textile lace art!
