This vintage Edwardian era ecru beige linen cream cluny lace walking suit jacket and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a grayish, yellowish brown ecru beige color fine linen fabric, with an off white cream color cluny bobbin lace trim accents. This sensational summer walking suit includes a mid length tailored suit jacket with a lace trim wide lapel fold over collar, gathered shoulders, long full sleeves, celluloid button closures down the front and is unlined. The coat measures 26 inches long, with a 38 inch bust, 30 inch waist, 22 inch long sleeves and is 13 inches between the back shoulder seams. There is a matching fabric long floor length skirt, with a lace trim front, pleating, hook closures on the back and is unlined. The skirt measures 38 inches long, with a 26 inch waist and 44 inch hips. Included is a matching fabric belt with no closures and measures 35 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned, with only a few faint small stains on the lace trim. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
