This vintage pink and black plaid check taffeta strapless peplum maxi dress evening gown dates from the 1940s. It is made of a pink and black taffeta fabric with a plaid check checkered pattern design. This pretty pink evening gown dress is a long floor length maxi style with full skirt, crinoline trim inside hemline, peplum skirted waist ruffle longer in the front, a strapless fitted bodice with stays boning inside, back zipper closure and is unlined. The dress measures 49 inches long, with a 32 inch bust and 26 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only a tiny frayed pull on the front skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
