This vintage uncut hand blocked fish, shirtless man signed Mexico circle skirt fabric dates from the 1950s. It is made of a cotton fabric, with a bright vibrant colorful hand blocked painted designs of a tropical seaside village scene with palm trees, grass huts, women carrying a fruit basket on their head, a handsome sexy shirtless man carrying a fish and multicolor fish black border. It is artist signed Hdiae (see close-up). This rare unused uncut fabric would have been used to create a full circle skirt and has two matching painted panels still attached into one long piece of fabric. The fabric measures 152 inches long, with each skirt measuring 76 inches long and is 36 1/2 inches wide across. It is in excellent unused condition and ready to be created into a skirt. This is truly an amazing and rare find which has wonderful graphic art work and is a great piece of Mexican textile art!
