This vintage white tulle net pintuck pleat embroidered lace appliqué maxi dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a white sheer tulle net lace fabric with pintuck pleats, raised padded satin stitch embroidery work, stitched snowflakes and tiny lace rosette appliques. This lovely lace dress has a squared neckline, short puffy sleeves, fitted waist, long floor length full skirt, crochet buttons on the back for closure and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 51 inches long, with a 36 inch bust and 28 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only some separation on the back waist seam (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
